The Royal Oak Hotel - Heckington

The staff - accommodating and absolutely lovely.

The setting was LOVELY, just off the lovely restaurant and the pub. Booked a room with a lovely bathroom.

Comfortable stay with fantastic food

The highlight was definitely the evening meals. The food was delicious, and the service was really good. One improvement could be offering breakfast options, as I had to bring my own.

Loved the comfy room and the tasty food! The outdoor area is perfect for chilling.

The hotel with newly remodelled and good-sized rooms, in a great area, in the middle of jackson. Very comfy beds, coffee and a kettle in the room. Plenty of excellent food at breakfast time. Lovely location close to Beaches Fine Arts Series...

We found this gem while traveling and were blown away! The room was updated and spotless. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had! They even kept the kitchen open late for us, which was a pleasant surprise.

Every detail of the hotel was absolutely fine, all the staff were really excellent and attentive. The room was newly remodelled with very comfy beds. The location was lovely and nice, at a walking distance from Henry Godson's Almshouses. Plus it was in a great area. I appreciated the good restaurant and the food was excellent.

I stayed in the Beautiful King Room and loved the clean, well-furnished vibe. The outdoor area was fantastic. Staff members were super friendly and genuinely helpful. They went out of their way to keep the kitchen open late for us, a nice touch after a long drive. The doors in the hallway banged noisily and disturbed my sleep at night. There was also a gap under the door that let in light. The pillows definitely needed replacing. They felt quite flat. A nice stay but could improve on noise control and pillow quality.

The room was comfortable, but the shower head was broken .

The Royal Oak offers a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. The food is tasty, especially the beef chili. The lack of vegetarian options and slight over-seasoning were noticeable drawbacks. Still, the dining experience overall was quite enjoyable.

I had an excellent night in the Beautiful King Room, with super clean accommodations and a cute atmosphere. The pub downstairs was buzzing with a great Thai food night, and the staff were great too keep the kitchen open late for us. It's such a comforting experience feeling at home while traveling. One area of improvement could be securing the bathroom fixtures better as they felt a bit loose and unsteady.

The room was spacious and really comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day. I particularly enjoyed the evening meal, which was both plentiful and excellent in quality. The location was quiet, allowing for good rest, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, which enhanced my overall experience. It's worth noting that there is no breakfast available, but I found a lovely place nearby for my morning meal.

It was just a fitting option for a flash visit in Heckington with best value for money ratio. The room was decent enough with the bed being quite comfortable for a night's sleep. If you need food, remember to arrange dinner ahead of time. There isn't much nearby.
